2V Trucking Corp is a growing intermodal transportation company specializing in container drayage, import/export freight movement, and regional logistics operations throughout the Midwest.
Based in Joliet, Illinois, our operation handles 350+ containers weekly while supporting major Chicago rail terminals and regional freight corridors. We are focused on building long-term partnerships with professional drivers and owner operators through consistent freight, strong dispatch support, and reliable operations.
ROLE SUMMARY
2V Trucking Corp is seeking experienced CDL Class A drivers and owner operators for our expanding Chicago intermodal operation.
Drivers will be responsible for transporting import and export containers between major rail terminals, warehouses, distribution centers, and customer facilities throughout the Midwest region.
Our operations are strategically focused within approximately 100 miles of our home terminal, allowing for consistent freight opportunities and home daily schedules.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely transport containers between rail terminals and customer locations.
Perform timely pickup and delivery operations while maintaining professional communication with dispatch and customers.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and DOT compliance.
Manage container documentation, chassis inspections, and terminal procedures accurately.
Operate efficiently within major Chicago rail terminals including BNSF, Union Pacific, and NS facilities.
Maintain safe driving practices while meeting delivery schedules and operational expectations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid CDL Class A License.
Minimum 2 years CDL driving experience preferred.
Clean driving record and strong safety mindset.
Intermodal and rail terminal experience preferred.
Reliable tractor with current registration and insurance (Owner Operators).
Ability to operate professionally in time-sensitive freight environments.
Strong communication and operational reliability.
